The Assessor is responsible for performing all town property assessments: keeping, updating, maintaining the value of real property in the town on which the Selectboard will set a tax rate necessary to raise the monies to pay for town services, maintenance, town roads and school.

Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9AM - 3PM or by appointment. It is best to schedule an appointment if you would like an in-person meeting as the Assessor is occasionally out of the office on inspections.

Important Tax Info: All Homestead Declarations must be filed with the state every year by April 15th to avoid a penalty. If the April 15th deadline is not met there will be a 3% penalty assessed on your tax bill. The final date for filing is October 15th.
