The Clerk's Office is responsible for the operation, preservation and administration of records as prescribed by law. This includes land records, elections (see below for Town Meeting info under election docs) minutes, all vital records, grand lists and other state mandated reports.

The Town Clerk, Lynn Parah, is Presiding Officer responsible for the administration and conduct of all town and general elections. The Treasurer, Amy Sears, oversees the collection of taxes and also processes utility payments.
The Clerk, Treasurer, and Assistant Clerk/Treasurer are Notary Publics, exempt from paying commission fees, and therefore, provide free notary services. The Clerk's Office issues licenses for animal (dogs only), liquor and marriages. The Office preserves and issues certified copies of birth certificates, death certificates and marriage licenses.

Office Hours are 9AM to 4PM Monday to Thursday and 9AM to Noon on Fridays.
