School Revote June 4, 2024
TO THE FAIRFAX COMMUNITY REGARDING THE SCHOOL REVOTE
Ballots will be available starting Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the Fairfax Town Office.
The Fairfax Town School District Budget Re-Vote will occur on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Bellows Free Academy Middle School Gymnasium 75 Hunt Street, Fairfax, Vermont with the polls being open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Below are your options to vote the Fairfax Town School Budget Re-Vote:
TO VOTE IN PERSON: On June 4, 2024, at Bellows Free Academy Fairfax Middle School Gymnasium from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM,
TO VOTE BY MAIL: You can call the town office 802-849-6111 extension 10, during regular business hours, if you would like a ballot mailed to you. The last day recommended for mailing of ballots will be May 29, 2024. (The Town is not responsible for delivery of ballots by the postal service).
PICK UP A BALLOT: You may only pick up your ballot at the Town Office, 12 Buck Hollow Road, during regular business hours. The last day you may vote in person at the town office is Friday, May 31, 2024, at Noon.
TO RETURN YOUR VOTED BALLOT: You can deposit your voted ballot in the secure Official Ballot Drop Box at the town office 24/7 or bring your ballot to the office during regular business hours, or by mailing your ballot to the Town Office. Ballots must be received prior to Monday, June 3, 2024, at 4:00 PM.
FRIDAY, MAY 31, 2024: The latest you will be able to vote by Absentee Ballot is Noon.
MONDAY, JUNE 3, 2024: The town office will be closed, in preparation for the REVOTE.
